We are proud to announce that Nurox has joined the Caregiver Innovation Council (CIC), convened by the Caregiver Action Network (CAN).
CAN is a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of America’s more than 63 million family caregivers through education, peer support, and practical resources. Its Caregiver Innovation Council brings together CareTech and AgeTech companies committed to developing meaningful solutions for caregivers and the people they support.
At Nurox, we are building Alva—an AI-powered care robot designed to help older adults live more safely and independently while extending the reach of their families and caregivers.
Technology can only make a meaningful difference when it is grounded in the realities of care. Through the CIC, we will have opportunities to learn directly from caregivers, collaborate with organizations across the caregiving ecosystem, and ensure Alva is shaped by the needs of the people it is being built to serve.
This community will help strengthen our work in areas such as safety, aging in place, everyday assistance, and caregiver connection. It will also bring us closer to a future where advanced technology supports human care without diminishing the dignity, independence, or relationships at its heart.
Joining the Caregiver Innovation Council is an important step in our mission to build a world where no one becomes invisible with age—and where no caregiver has to carry the responsibility of care alone.
